Berrynanna Smoothie

This is yet another variation on a smoothie I like to make in the morning, for breakfast, or sometimes in the afternoon, as just a little pick-me-up. It's not only vegan, but raw!

Servings: 
2 glasses
Ingredients: 

2 bananas
1 cup almond, rice, or oat milk (or more)
1 cup frozen berries (blueberries and raspberries are excellent)
1 cup fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons Nature's Way Alive Ultra Shake or similar
1/3 cup almonds
1 or 2 ice cubes (optional)

Preparation: 

Put everything in a blender, and blend until smooth. With the almonds in there, it sometimes takes a little bit longer. You can be very flexible about this, but the nuts and the Ultra Shake or similar is essential, because the protein really helps you to feel satisfied!
