Pumpkin Purée

This is how to make home made pumpkin puree for recipes such as pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, and so on. I usually take a large pumpkin and freeze the purée in 2 cup baggies. This is also an amazing baby food!
Preparation Time:
1 hour
Ingredients:
1 pumpkin
1 cup water
Preparation:
1. Preheat your oven to 350
2. Cut the pumpkin in half
3. Scoop out seeds and stringy part
4. Place each pumpkin half face down in a baking dish and add half a cup of water
5. Bake at 350 for an hour and a half
6. Let cool and then scoop pumpkin flesh into a food processor
7. Purée
