Replacing honey

I am working on a baking recipe that calls for 1 cup of honey. I'm planning to try replacing with agave. Has anyone had any luck with this when baking? Or, is there something else I should be using?

Apparently, this is a 1 to 1 conversion. However, when I replaced the honey in this Sailor's Bread, I also reduced the water a bit. It worked out really well.

I would go 1:1 and adjust for sweetness by adding sugar if needed. I find some agave syrup brands to be sweeter than others.

Recently I bought a new product called "Just Like Honey," totally vegan, but I haven't opened it yet!

I thought agave was less sweet than honey? It seems like it is to me.
